Life in the Shoe

Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I don't judge her nearly as harshly as I used to, now that I have a husband and six children. In our 100-year-old farmhouse, we have broth, bread, and lots of Smucker personalities, and this blog is about our lives.

You are truly a gifted writer. It's not just the story you are telling, but the precise words you use that I love so much.

Hello, I came over from Rhonda Schrock's blog where I read about your interview together. I sure enjoyed this article. I grew up in Wisconsin and married a Texan and have lived in the panhandle of Texas for the past 15 years. I love the north but I love the sun and warmth of the plains. Each has a special place in my heart and I'm happy to have had the opportunity to enjoy both places.
